I doubt I'll be able to get anything replaced as I think the product is only intended for Japan. I'm OK with the high price despite these being relatively standard plastic articulating figures, because this is a very niche product and whoever did the sculpts absolutely knocked it out of the park, but there is no excuse for the shoddy build quality. This build quality is unacceptable, especially in a product at this price point. The latter is basically just an annoyance, but the sword is largely unusable, and the crossbow I only managed to mount by supporting it with the other hand. The hand that holds Ashley's small sword (Firangi I wager!) and the hand that holds his crossbow are both so loose that they fall off in most positions. They are capable of a relatively large range of articulation, however posing them is rather difficult as some joints are very tight and others very loose and trying to get them into complex poses like in the promo images is an exercise in frustration. When I was looking through my VS fic files to try to compile all the Sydney/Hardin stories. Every detail is there, and nothing looks off. Occupation (Vagrant Story Sydney/Hardin, Joshua PG-13). Both figures look exactly like you remember from the games. The visual quality on these is basically perfect. Ashley Riot has to stop Sydney, the leader of a cult known as Mullenkamp, because his cult has kidnapped a noblemans son. I've never come even close to this price point for figures or sculpts, but Vagrant Story is one of my favorite games, and has only very scarse merchandise available, so I figured I'd ask. Vagrant Story wasnt bad by any stretch of the imagination. Why?)įirst off, these things are insanely expensive. (For some reason, they both come with identical replacement heads. You can find a pretty comprehensive overview of what's in the box on the official site. My wife bought me these fantastic figures for Christmas and I thought I'd share a quick review, because information is few and far between.
